Every appraisal begins with its purpose. We define the intended use, effective date, scope, and appropriate market before developing a supported opinion of value.
Our reports connect object-level research with provenance, condition, scholarship, comparables, market behavior, and the broader context of the collection.

Professional judgment, clearly documented.
House of Eight appraisal reports are developed in accordance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and informed by International Society of Appraisers methodology, as applicable to the assignment. Scope, intended use, assumptions, limiting conditions, methodology, and supporting market evidence are clearly communicated.
